Tanjiro and Muichiro are both after a secret weapon that is said to be in the Swordsmith Village, and their paths cross. From Muichiro’s treatment of Tanjiro, it is clear that he does not see him as an equal despite his recent defeat of the Upper Six demon. Muichiro is condescending towards Tanjiro and feels that talking to him is a waste of time.

Meeting Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Kotetsu

Tanjiro confronts Muichiro and Kotetsu, who are arguing about Kotetsu’s mechanical doll, Yoriichi Type Zero.
